Rates & Payment Policy
Updated on 12/7/17: I now require all clients to provide me with Credit Card information in order to schedule an initial intake appointment. If that appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or you simply do not attend without calling to cancel at all, I will charge your account.
I do not take insurance due to my desire to cater to my client's needs rather than the demands of insurance companies. I utilize a thoughtful sliding scale that most people find affordable. I will ask for your annual income and number of people in your household in order to determine your rate.
I GIVE EVERY CLIENT 3 SESSIONS AT A 30% OFF DISCOUNT. You may use these sessions during times of financial struggle, at the beginning if you are unsure if you want therapy and would prefer not to pay full price until you are sure, because it's holiday season, or because there is something fun you would like to buy. No need to pay it back. THEY ARE A GIFT FROM ME TO YOU.
Individual sessions (50 minutes) - $70-$110 per session based on income and household size
Couples/Relationship sessions (50 minutes) - $90-$130 per session based on income and household size
One-Day Workshops (average 5-6.5 hours) - $80-$100 per person; $60-$80 for students
Half-Day Workshops (average 4 hours) = $60 per person; $45 for students
2-Hour Workshops = $30 per person; $25 for students
Payment and Insurance
Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted. Payment is expected at each session. Consecutive sessions will only be scheduled if payment is up-to-date. I am also able to accept FSA/HSA if you have a card for that service with a Visa or MasterCard logo.
There are limited "low-rate" slots available for individuals who are considered to be in the low economic class. Should you be approved for this service, sessions are limited to individual and couples sessions only and do not apply to group therapy or workshops. Please call to learn if any of these slots are availabe and if you qualify.
Currently, insurance is not accepted; however, I am able to provide a receipt and/or superbill for you to submit to your insurance company as an out-of-network service. I recommend calling your insurance provider to see if you qualify for this.
Cancellation and Late Policy
Your appointment time is valuable and is reserved for you. Should you need to cancel an appointment, you will not be charged provided you give a 24-hour notice. Any cancellations with less than 24-hour notice will be charged the full amount of the session. Should you arrive late to your session, the end time as well as the fee will remain unchanged.
If I need to cancel an appointment for any reason, you will not be charged.
